In 2020, arrangements were made for the popular Super Stock division to compete as a support event at three rounds of the APC United Late Model Series. Contests were conducted at Sauble Speedway and Sunset Speedway, with the finale at Jukasa Motor Speedway. In 2021, the class received backing from Qwick Wick Fire Starters for the inaugural five-race championship. Last year, Dayco Belts and Hoses replaced Qwick Wick as the series primary sponsor. There are five Dayco Super Stock Series events this season. The division serves as a stepping stone for those drivers who aspire to compete in the Pro Late Model category. The Super Stock category includes a variety of makes and models, which may retain the original steel bodies with plastic noses and fiberglass hoods; however, most competitors use fiberglass body panels. All frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated, with no lightening. A full roll cage constructed out of 1 3/4 x .095 min. round steel tubing must be welded to the chassis. The roll cage must be symmetrical in all directions. Similarly, all suspension and frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated. No modification of stock suspension locating points unless otherwise stated. Mounts for upper control arms can be changed to any location or height. The cars may be equipped with dual racing master cylinders or a stock single master cylinder. A brake proportioning valve is allowed. OEM-type single-piston calipers or Howe single-piston steel calipers are also permitted. Super Stocks are powered by a Built small-block engine or Crate motor from General Motors and Ford. Depending on the engine choice, a car may weigh as little as 3,000 lbs or as much as 3,200 lbs. All engines are fitted with a Holley 500 CFM Two Barrel R4412 carburetor. The cars must use unaltered manual OEM transmission - 3 or 4 speed steel gearboxes. All gears must be operational, including reverse. Drivers compete on American Racer AR 870 tires mounted on 15”X8” steel wheels. Tire rules have been implemented to reduce expenses. Teams are limited to 6 tires for their first race. In 2024, series officials introduced a new restart procedure, called the 'choose rule,' for the APC United Late Model and Dayco Super Stock divisions. On restarts, competitors may choose their lane. Their selection may be determined by the condition of the track, how many cars are ahead of them, or the handling of their vehicle. If a driver changes their choice after the designated 'choose spot,' they must start from the rear of the field. Race two of five for the Dayco Super Stock Series was held at Canada’s Toughest 1/3-Mile Oval, Peterborough Speedway. On June 13, drivers competed in a fifty-lap contest. |

Shawn Chenoweth is chasing Super Stock titles in the Dayco and Steel City Rumble Series. Chenoweth leads the Steel City Rumble Championship with a victory at Flamboro Speedway. The driver of the 89C Stewart’s Chevrolet Camaro finished sixth in the first Dayco contest. Chenoweth was the fifth fastest qualifier at Peterborough but moved to the front early to grab the lead and victory. His performance moved him to third in the Dayco points chase. |

The reigning Dayco Super Stock and Steel City Rumble Series champion is Lane Zardo. Zardo drives the No. 36Z Bester Forest Products Ford Mustang. Like Chenoweth, he is competing in two of the province's high-profile Super Stock divisions. Zardo is currently second in the Steel City Rumble Series. He was the fastest qualifier at Peterborough Speedway and started fourth. Zardo chased Chenoweth to a runner-up result and jumped to the lead in the Dayco standings. |

Last year, Coltin Everingham chased titles in the Dayco Series and the Sunset Speedway track championship. Everingham earned the final Super Stock crown at Sunset and finished seventh in the Dayco battle. In 2026, he is splitting his time between the Dayco and Steel City Rumble Series. Everingham was ninth in the standings when the Dayco championship arrived at Peterborough. He started round two on the outside of the front row and finished in the third position. |

Nic Ramsay pilots the No. 07 Radar Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro. Like most of the Super Stock frontrunners, he is competing in two series – Dayco and Delaware Speedway’s Inventory Express championship. Ramsay finished second in the opening round at Delaware but was awarded the victory after the first-place car was disqualified. He was gridded sixth at Peterborough Speedway but passed Hudson Nagy and Chad Corcoran to finish fourth. |

The Nagy team spent much of last season trying to uncover the cause of a mysterious miss in the No. 36 Pure Energy Dance Studio Chevrolet Camaro, driven by Hudson Nagy. The issue was resolved, though the crew was unable to identify the cause. With the car fixed, Nagy won the final round of the Dayco Series. He started his 2026 campaign with a runner-up finish in round one. At Peterborough, Nagy started and finished in fifth place. He is fourth in the championship standings. |

Making his Dayco Super Stock Series debut this season is Mason Collver. Collver is related to the two-time Inventory Express Super Stock champion, Trevor Collver. The rookie drives the No. 20 Caris Welding / Brander Steel Chevrolet Camaro. He finished seventh in round one of the series after qualifying eleventh. Collver was gridded seventh for the fifty-lap contest at Peterborough and crossed the finish line in the same position. |
