There are ten Inventory Express Super Stock events scheduled for Delaware Speedway during the 2026 season,
beginning with the first race in May and continuing through September.
The Super Stock category includes a variety of makes and models. Cars may retain the original steel bodies with plastic noses and fiberglass hoods; however, most competitors use fiberglass body panels. All frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated, with no lightening. A full roll cage constructed out of 1 3/4 x .095 min. round steel tubing must be welded to the chassis. The roll cage must be symmetrical in all directions. Similarly, all suspension and frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated. No modification of stock suspension locating points unless otherwise stated. Mounts for upper control arms can be changed to any location or height. The cars may be equipped with dual racing master cylinders or a stock single master cylinder. A brake proportioning valve is allowed. OEM-type single-piston calipers or Howe single-piston steel calipers are also permitted. Super Stocks are powered by a Built small-block engine or Crate motor from General Motors and Ford. Depending on the engine choice, a car may weigh as little as 3,000 lbs or as much as 3,200 lbs. All engines are fitted with a Holley 500 CFM two-barrel R4412 carburetor. The cars must use unaltered manual OEM transmission - 3- or 4-speed steel gearboxes. All gears must be operational, including reverse. Drivers compete on American Racer AR 870 tires mounted on 15 X8 steel wheels. Tire rules have been implemented to reduce expenses. Teams are limited to 6 tires for their first race. The division serves as a stepping stone for drivers who aspire to compete in the Pro Late Model category. Round six of this year’s Inventory Express Super Stock Series was held at Delaware Speedway on July 31st. Drivers competed in a thirty-five-lap contest around Delaware’s half-mile semi-banked asphalt oval.

The No. 57 Loveday's Towing Chevrolet Camaro is driven by Ethan Orr. Orr gave notice earlier in the evening when he won the first heat race. He was gridded in the sixth position for the feature. Within several laps, Orr had passed Brandon Edgar, Connor Van Steensel, Brody Rickwood and his brother, Lucas. The leader, Pete Vanderwyst Jr., proved to be more of a challenge, but a caution allowed him to catch Vanderwyst for the lead and win. |

Finishing in the runner-up spot by a margin of 2.143 seconds was Nic Ramsay. Despite a technical infraction this season, which led to a disqualification, Ramsay leads the championship. Driving the No. 07 Radar Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro, he finished third in the second heat race. Ramsay started the feature in the ninth position. He made good progress during the race and passed Pete Vanderwyst Jr. but was unable to catch the winner, Ethan Orr. |

Peter Vanderwyst has competed in five of six rounds this season. His record includes two top five results and a pair of heat wins. After securing a victory in the second heat, Vanderwyst had good reason to be optimistic heading into the feature. Starting in the third position, he grabbed first place early. Vanderwyst pulled out a comfortable lead, but a caution eliminated his advantage. Unable to hold off Ethan Orr and Nic Ramsay, he finished third. |

Last year’s Inventory Express Super Stock Series champion, Trevor Collver, is delivering mixed results this season. However, his most recent victory came in the Dave Lawrence Memorial. Collver was the runner-up in heat race one driving the No. 1 Inventory Express Lubricants Chevrolet Camaro. In the feature, he lined up in the tenth spot. Collver made good progress during the race and on the final lap passed Brody Rickwood for fourth place. |

The Inventory Express Lubricants Series Super Stock winner, Ethan Orr, is part of a two-car team that includes his brother, Lucas. On Friday evening, Orr collected his first feature victory of the season in the No. 57 Loveday's Towing / Crawford Air Conditioning / Davie’s Paving & Construction Chevrolet Camaro. With his latest results, Orr sits fourth in the championship standings with five races remaining. |
