There are ten Inventory Express Super Stock events scheduled for Delaware Speedway during the 2026 season,
beginning with the first race in May and continuing through September.
The Super Stock category includes a variety of makes and models. Cars may retain the original steel bodies with plastic noses and fiberglass hoods; however, most competitors use fiberglass body panels. All frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated, with no lightening. A full roll cage constructed out of 1 3/4 x .095 min. round steel tubing must be welded to the chassis. The roll cage must be symmetrical in all directions. Similarly, all suspension and frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated. No modification of stock suspension locating points unless otherwise stated. Mounts for upper control arms can be changed to any location or height. The cars may be equipped with dual racing master cylinders or a stock single master cylinder. A brake proportioning valve is allowed. OEM-type single-piston calipers or Howe single-piston steel calipers are also permitted. Super Stocks are powered by a Built small-block engine or Crate motor from General Motors and Ford. Depending on the engine choice, a car may weigh as little as 3,000 lbs or as much as 3,200 lbs. All engines are fitted with a Holley 500 CFM two-barrel R4412 carburetor. The cars must use unaltered manual OEM transmission - 3- or 4-speed steel gearboxes. All gears must be operational, including reverse. Drivers compete on American Racer AR 870 tires mounted on 15 X8 steel wheels. Tire rules have been implemented to reduce expenses. Teams are limited to 6 tires for their first race. The division serves as a stepping stone for drivers who aspire to compete in the Pro Late Model category. The fourth round of this year’s Inventory Express Super Stock Series was held at Delaware Speedway on July 3rd. Drivers competed in a thirty-five-lap contest around Delaware’s half-mile semi-banked asphalt oval.

The first driver to receive the checkered flag was Nic Ramsay. Ramsay and the No. 07 Radar Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro are one of the top Super Stock combinations in the province. Ramsay has victories in the Inventory Express and Dayco series. Unfortunately, the car failed post-race tech and was disqualified from the previous round. Specifically, the Camaro failed the coil spring bind rule. The victory was redemption for the team and Ramsay. |

Ryan Dyson started the feature in the tenth position. He advanced through the field and crossed the finish line in second place, 3.453 seconds behind the first-place Chevrolet Camaro of Nic Ramsay. This marked the fourth podium result of the season for the No. 28 JRD Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro. With his record of consistency, Dyson leads the Inventory Express Super Stock Series points chase. |

Finishing behind Ryan Dyson was the No. 20 Brander Steel / Caris Welding Chevrolet Camaro of Mason Collver. Collver is the cousin of last year’s Inventory Express Super Stock champion, Trevor Collver. The rookie has proven to be a ‘quick study.’ He finished first in the round four heat race after starting sixth, then lined up fourth for the feature and passed Brody Rickwood and Lucas Orr to finish behind Dyson. |

Veteran Darrell Lake won the opening round of the Inventory Express Super Stock Series; however, during the post-race technical inspection, he was disqualified. The No. 77 London Drive Systems Ford Mustang exceeded the maximum track width. Lake returned for round two and redeemed himself with a victory. The car won a second race with Gary Adrianensen behind the wheel. On July 3rd, Lake finished fourth after starting ninth. |

The driver advancing the most positions in round four of the Inventory Express Super Stock Series was Pete Vanderwyst Jr. Vanderwyst was entered in Heat Race 1 and started fourth but finished last. The No. 7 Tuffy Solutions / Yarmouth Group Chevrolet Camaro was gridded sixteenth for the feature – the last spot in the field. With the drop of the green flag, Vanderwyst started his charge to the front and advanced eleven positions to finish fifth. |
