In 2020, arrangements were made for the popular Super Stock division to compete as a support event at three rounds of the APC United Late Model Series. Contests were conducted at Sauble Speedway and Sunset Speedway, with the finale at Jukasa Motor Speedway. In 2021, the class received backing from Qwick Wick Fire Starters for the inaugural five-race championship. Last year, Dayco Belts and Hoses replaced Qwick Wick as the series primary sponsor. There are five Dayco Super Stock Series events this season. The division serves as a stepping stone for those drivers who aspire to compete in the Pro Late Model category. The Super Stock category includes a variety of makes and models, which may retain the original steel bodies with plastic noses and fiberglass hoods; however, most competitors use fiberglass body panels. All frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated, with no lightening. A full roll cage constructed out of 1 3/4 x .095 min. round steel tubing must be welded to the chassis. The roll cage must be symmetrical in all directions. Similarly, all suspension and frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated. No modification of stock suspension locating points unless otherwise stated. Mounts for upper control arms can be changed to any location or height. The cars may be equipped with dual racing master cylinders or a stock single master cylinder. A brake proportioning valve is allowed. OEM-type single-piston calipers or Howe single-piston steel calipers are also permitted. Super Stocks are powered by a Built small-block engine or Crate motor from General Motors and Ford. Depending on the engine choice, a car may weigh as little as 3,000 lbs or as much as 3,200 lbs. All engines are fitted with a Holley 500 CFM Two Barrel R4412 carburetor. The cars must use unaltered manual OEM transmission - 3 or 4 speed steel gearboxes. All gears must be operational, including reverse. Drivers compete on American Racer AR 870 tires mounted on 15 X8 steel wheels. Tire rules have been implemented to reduce expenses. Teams are limited to 6 tires for their first race. In 2024, series officials introduced a new restart procedure, called the 'choose rule,' for the APC United Late Model and Dayco Super Stock divisions. On restarts, competitors may choose their lane. Their selection may be determined by the condition of the track, how many cars are ahead of them, or the handling of their vehicle. If a driver changes their choice after the designated 'choose spot,' they must start from the rear of the field. To increase 2026 Super Stock car counts, Dayco and local track championships are being combined. In the season opener, the Dayco and Inventory Express Super Stock series were merged for the Dayco/Inventory Express 50. The opening round of this year’s Dayco Stock Series was held at Delaware Speedway. Drivers competed in the Dayco/Inventory Express 50. The race was a fifty-lap contest around Delaware’s half-mile semi-banked asphalt oval.

Nic Ramsay finished second in the 2025 Dayco Super Stock championship and returned this year in the familiar No. 07 Radar Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro. He was fifth fastest in practice and drew the third starting position. Early in the race, Ramsay moved into second place and maintained that spot until the end. Initially, he finished as the runner-up, but when the first driver to cross the finish line was disqualified, Ramsay inherited the win and now leads the points chase. |

Hudson Nagy, the brother of the two-time Dayco series champion Carson Nagy, finished fourth in last year’s points chase. He was plagued with an engine miss that didn’t get resolved until late in the season. With the issue resolved, Nagy won the final Dayco round of 2025. The No. 36 Pure Energy Dance Studio Chevrolet Camaro was gridded tenth. However, Nagy charged through the field and was declared runner-up after the leader was penalized. |

Another driver to benefit from the disqualification was Ryan Dyson. The local driver is a veteran of the Dayco Super Stock Series and finished third in the championship last year. Dyson qualified fourth fastest and after the draw was gridded in the fifth position for the fifty-lap contest. Driving the No. 28 Jackpot Bingo Chevrolet Camaro, he passed Lane Zardo and, when Trevor Collver had an issue, Darrell Lake was penalized, earning a third-place result. |

Former Late Model racer Darrell Lake is a regular in Delaware Speedway’s Inventory Express Super Stock Series but has yet to collect a feature win. In the season opener, Lake drove the No. 77 London Drive Systems Ford Mustang, set the third fastest practice time, and drew the pole position. He led every lap and was first to cross the finish line. However, post-race tech inspection revealed the car exceeded track width; as a result, Lake was penalized, receiving last-place points and prize money. |
