The Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Series was formed at the end of the 2017 season by promoters from Peterborough Speedway,
Sauble Speedway, Jukasa Motor Speedway, Flamboro Speedway, and Sunset Speedway. They aimed to grow Ontario's fastest
full-body stock car shows by ensuring that Super Late Models are prepared according to a consistent set of rules,
that there are no scheduling conflicts, and that purses are healthy to attract competitors.
This year, the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Series has joined the Ontario Stock Car Association of Asphalt Racers (OSCAAR), which also sanctions Modified and Hot Rod divisions. The 2026 championship kicks off in May at Flamboro Speedway and ends seven rounds later at Flamboro on October 3.
The Ontario Outlaw Super Late Models are prepared to a minimal set of guidelines. The cars run Outlaw-style bodies that must meet specific manufacturer and measurement guidelines. Approved manufactured noses include brands such as Howe, Five Star, ARP, Dominator, and True Force. Minimum body height is 43.75-inches, measured 10-inches back from the front windshield. The overall width is capped at 82-inches over the front wheels, 72-inches at the rear bumper, and 86-inches at the nose tips. Super Late Model engine rules allow one 850 cfm carburetor (no fuel injection) on cast-iron blocks (no aluminum blocks). Engine setback is controlled: the foremost spark plug must be no more than 4.5-inches back from the center of the upper ball joint. Crate engine options, GM 604 or sealed Ford 347, must use approved cylinder heads, intake manifold, and valve-spring packages, with only limited changes permitted and sealing handled by approved builders. Cars are weighed with the driver, and the distribution on the left side must not exceed 60%.
Tires must be the series-designated Hoosier spec tire, mounted on steel wheels with a maximum 10" bead-to-bead width. Drivers competed in a fifty-lap contest around Delaware’s half-mile semi-banked asphalt oval.

APC United Late Model competitor Jake Sheridan debuted his Outlaw Super Late Model last season at Delaware Speedway and beat some formidable opponents in JR Fitzpatrick and Shawn Chenoweth. In qualifying at Delaware this season, Sheridan clocked a time of 17.105 seconds but was to start eighth after the invert. He moved into the race lead on lap two and went flag-to-flag for the victory. |

Finishing 3.314 seconds behind Jake Sheridan in the runner-up position was Brandon Passer. Passer was the third-fastest qualifier and lined up fourth when the field took the green flag. During the contest, the driver of the No. 52 Simcoe Barge & Break Wall chased the winner, Jake Sheridan. Passer entered the event tied with Glenn Watson for second in the points chase. With Glenn Styres' absence and Watson’s opening-lap accident, Passer leads the standings. |

OSCAAR Modified driver T.J. Edwards joined the JRS Auctions OSCAAR Super Late Model tour last season, which included some success but also a late-season wreck. After two races, Edwards is third in the standings, just three points out of first place. At Delaware, he started on the outside of the front row in the No. 34 Excel Tower Service Super Late Model, led the opening lap, and eventually finished third to move to second in the championship. |

Will Quarrie is a regular in Delaware Speedway’s V8 Stock division. In this class, competitors must not go faster than 21.100 seconds; otherwise, they receive a stop-and-go penalty. His first JRS Auctions OSCAAR Super Late Model race allowed Quarrie to test the speed of the No. 6 Quarrie Tire & Auto Super Late Model. He qualified at 18.108 seconds. The decision was made for the rookie to start from the rear, and Quarrie charged through the field to finish fourth. |
