The Super Stock category includes a variety of makes and models. Cars may retain the original steel bodies with plastic noses and fiberglass hoods; however, most competitors use fiberglass body panels.

All frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated, with no lightening. A full roll cage constructed out of 1 3/4 x .095 min. round steel tubing must be welded to the chassis. The roll cage must be symmetrical in all directions. Similarly, all suspension and frame components must be stock unless otherwise stated. No modification of stock suspension locating points unless otherwise stated. Mounts for upper control arms can be changed to any location or height.

The cars may be equipped with dual racing master cylinders or a stock single master cylinder. A brake proportioning valve is allowed. OEM-type single-piston calipers or Howe single-piston steel calipers are also permitted.

Super Stocks are powered by a Built small-block engine or Crate motor from General Motors and Ford. Depending on the engine choice, a car may weigh as little as 3,000 lbs or as much as 3,200 lbs. All engines are fitted with a Holley 500 CFM two-barrel R4412 carburetor.

The cars must use unaltered manual OEM transmission - 3- or 4-speed steel gearboxes. All gears must be operational, including reverse.

Drivers compete on American Racer AR 870 tires mounted on 15 X8 steel wheels. Tire rules have been implemented to reduce expenses. Teams are limited to 6 tires for their first race.

The division serves as a stepping stone for drivers who aspire to compete in the Pro Late Model category.

The penultimate round of the 2026 Inventory Express Super Stock Series was held at Delaware Speedway on September 11. Drivers competed in a fifty-lap contest around Delaware’s half-mile, semi-banked asphalt oval.

Sixteen Inventory Express Super Stock Series competitors line up on Delaware Speedway’s back straight for round ten of the championship. Pacing the field is the No. 71 Ruby Farms Chevrolet Camaro driven by Connor Van Steensel. Beside Van Steensel is Brendan Edgar driving the No. 4D Edgar Excavating & Haulage Chevrolet Camaro. In the second row are Darrell Lake driving the No. 77 Ford Mustang and Mason Collver in the No. 20 Brander Steel Chevrolet Camaro.
It has been a difficult season for Ryan Dyson. Mechanical failures and incidents beyond his control have affected his results; however, on Friday evening, the team’s hard work paid off. The event began with Dyson winning the second heat after starting fifth. The No. 28 Bingo Country London Chevrolet Camaro lined up fifth for the feature. Dyson moved up the order and passed the race leader Brendan Edgar with ten laps remaining for the victory.
Brandon Edgar joined the Inventory Express Super Stock Series in 2024 but only competed in four events. Last year, he participated in all ten rounds and finished tenth in the standings. Edgar returned this season in the No. 4D Edgar Excavating & Haulage Chevrolet Camaro. This year, his performance has improved with each event. Edgar started the round ten feature in second place but jumped into the lead on lap 1. Unable to hold off Ryan Dyson, he finished second.
Trevor Collver won back-to-back Inventory Express Super Stock Series titles in 2024 and 2025. But it has been a challenging year for the reigning champ. Collver started sixth in the first heat race and grabbed the victory. The driver of the No. 1 Inventory Express Lubricants Chevrolet Camaro was gridded sixth for the fifty-lap feature. Passes on Connor Van Steensel, Darrell Lake and his cousin, Mason Collver, were rewarded with a third-place finish.
The 2026 Inventory Express Super Stock Series points leader is Nic Ramsay. Ramsay leads the title chase despite being disqualified from round three. His No. 07 Radar Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro started seventh in an eight-car field for the second heat race and charged to a runner-up result. Ramsay began the feature in the ninth position. With nine laps remaining, he passed Darrell Lake to finish in the fourth spot and retain first place in the standings.
On Friday evening, fans got a preview of one of next season’s newest Inventory Express Super Stock competitors. The Liftow Bone Stock points leader, Charlie Verhoeven, made his Super Stock debut in the No. 8 Duststop Air Filters Chevrolet Camaro. Verhoeven started heat race two in the final spot on the grid but moved up cautiously to finish sixth. He lined up twelfth for the fifty-lap feature and advanced four positions to finish eighth.
It has been a frustrating season for Ryan Dyson. On many occasions, it appeared that he would collect his first feature victory of the year only to be robbed. At round ten, his ‘stars aligned.’ Dyson moved into the lead on lap 40, and while his competition fought for position, he pulled away unchallenged and won by 1.755 seconds.
